Ride with purpose
On Sunday 12 April 2026, the team at Bicycle Centre Warrnambool is hosting a special social ride to raise funds for the Carlisle River Wildlife Shelter, which was severely impacted by recent bushfires in the Carlisle River and Gellibrand regions.
This ride is more than just a day on the bike - it’s a chance to support injured and displaced wildlife, help rebuild vital shelters, and boost the local economy.
Why it matters
The Carlisle River Wildlife Shelter is a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife. With no government funding and extensive damage from the fires, the shelter urgently needs support to continue its work.
100% of proceeds from this ride will go directly to the shelter.

This is a social ride, not a race. It’s about community, connection, and compassion.
